Worship Support

The acolyte program teaches young Christians the importance of service and helps them gain a deeper understanding of our liturgy. Starting in fourth grade, all young Christians who are strong enough to hold a candle and can maintain their attention for an hour are invited to attend a training. Click here for current acolyte schedule.

Adult Choir

The St. Paul’s adult choir includes about 40 volunteers who sing for the 11:00 AM worship service each week and other services throughout the church year. Membership is open to adults, high school and college students. Rehearsals are Wednesdays, 7:15-8:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Learn more about the choir

Altar Guild

The Guild consists of parishioners who prepare for the worship of the church as directed by the clergy, provide for the suitable furnishing and decorating of the church and take reverent care of its appointments, and furnish and care for the vestments of our ministers.

Children's Church

Every Sunday morning at 8:30 our children gather during the Liturgy of the Word for prayer, bible reading, singing and teaching.  We then bring the children in during the passing of the peace so they can take communion with their family.  Meets upstairs in the Parish Hall.  For children ages 3 1/2 - 3rd grade.

Eucharistic Ministers

These are lay people who serve worshipers by providing them with a sip of wine from a common chalice during the Holy Communion.

Flower Guild

The Flower Guild provides the altar arrangements and flowers for all areas of the church weekly. The Flower Guild also provides altar arrangements for funerals, at no cost to the family if requested and also does floral arrangements for special receptions.

These parishioners have the gift of welcoming, and serve during Sunday Services to welcome newcomers to our church.

Lay Readers serve by reading the scriptures during worship services and leading the congregation in the prayers of the people.

There are three nursery rooms: Nursery 1 (birth -18 months); Nursery 2 (1 ½ years to 3 years of age, must be walking); Nursery 3 (3 through kindergarten). A team of at least 2 workers will staff each room during worship services and other church events.

These men and women facilitate the movement of worshipers during church services.

Wedding Team

The Wedding Team assists the clergy, bride, and groom in all the “non-liturgical” aspects of the wedding. Team members act as consultants who can advise couples to make their weddings go smoothly and joyfully.
